Website Content/Social Media Coordinator / Managing Editor

The Liberal Gun Club is seeking a qualified member in good standing to lead efforts around Content creation for the club website and Facebook page.

Responsibilities will include:

-act as Managing Editor for the LGC blog

-Create new content for posting to our website and social media channels

-Recruit new authors for content, coordinate the content distribution created by those authors

-Create incentive programs for content creation

-Cooperate with efforts by the membership coordinator to recruit additional members to achieve parity with forum and social media membership statistics

-Periodically collate existing articles into a format appropriate for email distribution to members.

-Assist in setting annual budget for the creation and maintenance of the in scope programs.

-Prepare periodic reports and present annual report for the Annual Meeting

The ideal candidate would have experience in organize volunteers in a non profit. The candidate should be a member in good standing of The Liberal Gun Club and be subject to a background and reference check. The candidate should be willing to travel at least once a year to the annual meeting. This position is volunteer and reports to the Executive Director.

Depending on the candidate pool, we may accept more than one volunteer as deputy coordinator(s).

Education Coordinator

The Liberal Gun Club is seeking a certified instructor (LGC, NRA, or other recognized certification) to lead efforts around firearms safety education.

Responsibilities will include:

-Coordinating efforts to achieve LGC a course recognition individual states, starting with their home state if the course is not already recognized.

-Coordinating recruitment of additional instructors, beginning with instructors with credentials from other recognized bodies

-Creating and running a formal certification program for those instructors.

-Maintaining course materials associated with that program

-Maintaining the existing student course materials in coordination with the existing instructor pool and the executive director.

-Creating new course offerings for safety and outreach.

-Assist in setting annual budget for the creation and maintenance of the in scope programs.

-Act as lead safety officer for the CMP program and maintains hat program in coordination with the membership coordinator.

-Prepare periodic reports and present annual report for the Annual Meeting

The ideal candidate would have existing instructor credentials (as above), experience in education programs, and experience in organize volunteers in a non profit. The candidate should be a member in good standing of The Liberal Gun Club and be subject to a background and reference check. The candidate should be willing to travel at least once a year to the annual meeting. This position is volunteer and reports to the Executive Director.

Membership and Chapter Coordinator
The Liberal Gun Club is seeking a qualified member in good standing to lead efforts around Recruiting of members and chapters.

Responsibilities will include:

-Coordinating efforts to recruit additional members to achieve parity with forum and social media membership statistics.

-Coordinating recruitment of additional chapters, starting with their home state if No chapter already exists.

-Assist in setting annual budget for the creation and maintenance of the in scope programs.

-Assist in coordination and maintenance of the CMP program in coordination with the Education coordinator

-Create and maintain other membership perk programs (such as USAS affiliation, discount programs with retailers, etc).

-Prepare periodic reports and present annual report for the Annual Meeting

The ideal candidate would have experience in organize volunteers in a non profit. The candidate should be a member in good standing of The Liberal Gun Club and be subject to a background and reference check. The candidate should be willing to travel at least once a year to the annual meeting. This position is volunteer and reports to the Executive Director.
