This is just a "criminal shopping list" thread! The bad guys will just find the people near them with the best collections and steal your guns!

:smart:

Anyway...

Kel-Tec P-11 (9mm subcompact semi-auto)
JC Higgins Model 20 (aka: "Sears special" from the 1940s, 12ga pump-action.)
Mosin-Nagant 89/31 (1939 manufacture, in immaculate condition, 7.62x54R bolt-action.)
Yugo 59/66 SKS with all-new polymer mostly-Tapco parts (7.62x39 semi-auto.)

Re: So what do other liberals pack? Whats in your collection

13
Marlin Model 336 Lever Action .30-30
Polish Circle 11 Mosin-Nagant M44
Izhevsk 1943 Mosin-Nagant M38
Hi-Point 995 9mm carbine with red dot sight
Hi-Point 4095 40S&W carbine
Kel-Tec Sub-2000 9mm folding carbine
Hi-Point 40S&W handgun
FIE .22 revolver ("cowboy" style single action, on loan from my MIL, kind of a piece of shit)

My wife's guns
Remington 597 .22 LR with scope (was originally mine but she totally co-opted it)
Ruger P95 9mm (this one we specifically got for her and she likes it... and I wish I could co-opt it because it's great)

I need to get a shotgun or two, thinking a pump action and a break-open side-by-side. Might trade in the Kel-Tec and the Hi-Point handgun for a nicer .40 S&W handgun.

In the order acquired:

1. Do-everything shotgun, configurable for hunting, target sports, or home defense: Remington 870 Express 12g

2. Same, purchased with smaller family members in mind: Remington 870 Express 20g

3. Fun plinker, now being reconfigured into a "Liberty Training Rifle" suitable for Appleseed events: Ruger 10/22 .22 carbine

4. Deer rifle, if I ever decide to take up hunting: Weatherby Vanguard Sporter in .30-06 with a nice scope

5. Historical military battle rifle for the range: Springfield Armory M1 Garand, c. 1955, from CMP.

6. General-pupose handgun (except for concealed carry, which I currently don't feel the need for): Springfield Armory Loaded 1911 in .45 ACP.

7. Plinker and lower cost range handgun: Ruger Mark III 22/45 .22lr with 5" barrel.

8. Couple of Crosman air pistols for shooting rats in my garage, etc.

I only started this collection about 3-4 years ago. I'd better not stop and think about how much money I've spent...

Not that I'm not happy as fuck with my collection, but without the New Kimber Royal II my collection at the moment consists of;

Packin: Beretta PX4 Storm .45 which is what I choose to carry till I get my dirty hands on the Kimber. He he.

Bersa Thunder 380 which will become my boy's first handgun this year for Christmas. Yee Haw!

Century Arms Polish M60 AKM which my son and I abuse at the range. OK, it abuses me...

Remington 12ga. 1100 which was my Dads. I recenty found a new ivory diamond grip inlay on Gunbroker so now it's sweet and complete Again!

My handguns slide very nicely into a pair of custom leather holsters made by Irishman and Son's www.woodenleather.com , one of which is official LGC custom holster. Yeahya...!

When our son was small we'd put up most of his toys and leave a small group out. Then when he got less interested in the group we'd swap them for a new group. This went on for quite a while with no need to get anything new. Each roation was just like Christmas all over again!!

I do the same thing with my toys now. All sorts in the lock area but my current rotation includes .38 snubs, and some 4" 44s & 44m. I can't wait to see what comes out next!

Nah, they just made great weapons at low prices in vast numbers. criticize the soviet union all you want but without planned obsolescence being shoved down engineers throats, they could make shit that lasted..... forever. Kinda like american guns pre 1945

I have no idea how many guns I own.

But most recently, I picked up a pre-ban Springfield FAL bush rifle (18" barrel, built in the Imbel factory, not a kit gun) and I'm having an 18" barrel lightweight m14 built (on an LRB m25 receiver).

Also I bought a Springfield XD in .45, OD green today. I've got about 15K rounds through my XD in 9mm--I love and trust that gun, decided to get one that shoots bigger bullets.

Overall, I've got a lot of traditional guns, wood stocked hunting rifles, revolvers, etc, 1911s, but the practical guy in me really goes for the polymer pistols these days, lot to be said for near perfect reliability, near unlimited service life, light weight, and cheap. I'm about evenly split between Glocks and the Springer XDs. Want to like the Glock better, but seem to shoot the XDs better when it's late afternoon and I've already put 1,000 rounds downrange. Plus the Springers don't bite your trigger finger.

Also, I shoot a lot.
