New Purchase !

I finally got me one! Springfield Armory XDM 3.8, 9mm black on black. Been wanting one ever since it came out. I tried to trade my Glock for forever on here and GT but never ended up doing it, but I did not have the money to outright buy it, so I decided to sell all my knives and use the money to buy one. And I actually ended up buying a new Glock knife with it ( Of Amazon actually ). But anyway, first impressions: I absolutely love the grip width and the fact that the back straps are adjustable. The trigger feels smoother to pull, up to the point when it breaks, then it feels way heavier than my G17, about 6 pounds?, although I have put a 3.5 connector on my Glock. I love the reverse slide serrations, especially in the front, kind of like some 1911's. Mag capacity is awesome as well 19+1. At first, I did not know why Springfield was advertising the striker indicator pin on the back of the slide I did not think it was that special, but now I am really liking it, and the loaded chamber indicator, which protrudes quite a bit and is easy to "feel" with your finger. I dont care much for the grip safety, although I dont really mind it as an additional "drop" safety. Sights?, I dont know, realistically I dont think I will ever have the time to look at them if I ever actually have to use the gun in self defense, so its not a big deal for me. I will try to go to the range Sunday and try it out, unless I end up drinking beer all day like I usually do. I threw in some pics of the Xdm, the Glock and my new Glock knife, and my Yugo m70 just for fun.

mine's a .45 with the PRP trigger and dawson sights. it is an absolute blast to shoot. stock trigger pull is between 5-7 according to the spec sheet.
congrats on your purchase, though I'm sorry you had to sell all your knives. SG, if you wear ballcaps PM me your mailing address; I won an XDm one
in the contest springfield just had and it's too small for my huge noggin.
