My brother is a retired cop but I still lose my temper with some of the crap they do so I make sure I get my moneys worth when they give me a ticket. Rule number one is to not take it when they hand it to you. Let them stand there while you vent. There are lines you can't cross but up to a point you can go at em full throttle.Sonofagun wrote:I told the bacon when he asked for my lisence we just bought the car, it's from Florida and I wasn't aware of tint laws, I can change it if I must and he went back to his fuzz bubble and wrote me a ticket, not a warning, anyway. I was even courteous enough to offer my CCW with my lisence and he took my firearm with him too. When he returned I told him I'm surprised this isn't just a warning and he said, "I'm not a warning kind of guy". I was then able to refrain from saying any of the things that came to my mind at that moment, he gave me my gun back and said have a nice day. I told him the same and we were out of there. I'm blowing off steam because I can think of a few things I think he could be doing other than harrassing tax payers and such as get a fuckin life, but I do understand the consiquence of negligence. Anyway, rant off!!
I'd like to think those lines are visible. I know cops don't see lines and have the power to do as they wish. Being a wise-ass has gotten me in trouble before. I'd rather keep my cool and bitch about it later. Besides, not all cops are bad. God Damn it hurt to say that. But really I don't think cops are bad, just got their own identity. If I were a cop I must admit I'd be my own me and in my own way, I wouldn't arrest anyone. Id race the speeders, take samples from the pot-heads, totally fuck with the drunks and shoot everybody else. I respect the responsibility and the risk, not the individual. I'm good friends with the cops in my hood which is against all odds and a chance for me to get to know and get a feel for what I've been afraid of pretty much all my life till I finally quit fucking around, smoking weed, drinking like a fish and being completely irresponsible. Now that I'm a respectable manOldskool wrote:My brother is a retired cop but I still lose my temper with some of the crap they do so I make sure I get my moneys worth when they give me a ticket. My problem began when someone broke into my truck and stole my work tools. I called the cops and they refused to come over here. I couldn't believe it. I bitched for 20 minutes and she said all they would do is take a report over the phone. But those same fuckers park down the street in a parking lot with all the time in the world to give me a ticket if I'm ever in a hurry to get somewhere. Sorry fuckers.Sonofagun wrote:I'd like to think those lines are visible. I know cops don't see lines and have the power to do as they wish. Being a wise-ass has gotten me in trouble before. What do Cops and Teachers have in common? Nothing, but one want's to be a teacher and the other wants summers off.Oldskool wrote:My problem began when someone broke into my truck and stole my work tools.
