That is the typical tactic of the right wing. Take/do something and then blame the other guy for it. They break the economy with all of their deregulation and say its because of too much regulation that our economy is in the toilet. They destroy the school system by constantly cutting funds from them and then point to how ineffective they are when they stop producing results to justify even more cuts. They do the same with the infrastructure and the government as a whole. It's the equivalent of cutting a marathon runner's legs off and then calling him a shitbag because he didn't win the race on his bloody stumps. "Told you you couldn't win!" "You cut my legs off with a chainsaw asshole!"

Ditto. And sadly it works every time.
