Interestingly enough nobody here does it.
Any thoughts?

Most signature lines on gun forums will fit 4 categories (thankfully, ours here is quite a bit more diverse):
-Bible Quotes that the Original Poster NEVER adheres to (unless it involves subjugating women, Muslims or gays)
-Endless lists of their Military achievements, and how you should worship the ground they walk on because by being a bomb loader for a few years out of highschool makes them morally better than you will ever be
-Endless lists of the stuff they own to show how much more successful they are than you
-Constant reminders of 9/11 and the Muslim Threat.
Pretty much covers it all

I like KV but yeah, huge signatures are kinda annoying.
Lastly, I am fucking morally superior to you, Neotrotsky.
Funny thing is... didn't the whole "Right" and "Left" thing start off with what side each party sat on in the hall in Parliament (or the Senate)? Correct me if I'm wrong.Simmer down wrote:One of the Head Assholes on the TX gun forum had this as his sig line

I confronted him on using the Bible to make a statements regarding Dems & Rep. He became mighty enraged and denied using religion & politics, those are against the rules (HA!) This is about the time my relationship w/that forum started showing signs of wear and the moderators starting openly screwing me. But those f-wads are the catylyst that sent me and Yabuus on the search leading to this place.
Narcissism only looks good to the narcissist, everybody else sees it for what it is. I saw it all over the Sigforum and couldn't understand why anyone would want to advertise their lack of depth like that.masonalannz wrote:I've noticed quite a few people on the "other" gun forums have all their guns, trucks, motorcycles etc (usually followed by some anti BO or liberal crap) listed in thier sig line. The Bible quote presumably suggests some other cultural implications of left/right, now lost to history. Probably bad/good, as survives in some modern cultures and languages (e.g., "sinister" related to a word for left; also consider the various positive meanings and connocations of the word "right").The terms Left and Right were coined during the French Revolution, referring to the seating arrangement in the Estates General; those who sat on the left generally supported the radical changes of the revolution, including the creation of a republic and secularization.

I tried it for a while. People kept trying to be my friend. It was creepy.Paladin wrote:How would you know?
We called them posers and 'jet boys', and most the time they were really useless unless ya could get them to go fetch things for ya, which would make them bigger posers because now they were on a mission. They were also fun to yell at when they got in the way. Which they usually did. I doubt things have changed all that much.AmirMortal wrote: There are a few guys I used to work with who would keep every backstage pass they'd ever gotten on a single lanyard. If you think listing your posessions is bad... I once worked for a huge jerk who kept a leather bound albumn in his briefcase with photos of his racing sailboat, horse ranch, luxury car, house, etc... On his travels for business, he would whip it out at bars to try and impress women. I think he actually met 2 of his wives gold digging whores that way.AmirMortal wrote:I just like fun quotes. Irregardless, this doesn't really seem to apply here though; and it's a whole nother thing. All of the sudden I feel silly.
