That is sweet! Happy Rapture Day! I can relate, we woke up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, went for a ride on the dunebuggy around the hood and thru the walking trail, changed the oil in the car, washed the car, ignored the bitch across the street, went to the pool, watered the lawn, gave the dog a bath, walked the wet dog, relocated the pagoda, got milk, grilled some chicken and chowin down on some icebox cheesecake. My wife just told me, "get a life". Looks like I'll be makin another doll.Porkroast wrote:What a glorious day all around. The weather here has been complete shit all spring long. Finally we get a gorgeous (albeit just a tad rainy) day today...
I got my garden completed (Plenty of cukes, jalapenos & wild garlic). Gave the dog a bath. Threw my 6 month old into the back-pack & gave the wet dog a walk. Hit the (indoor) range & rented a Sig Mosquito, had a freaking blast. Stocked up on ammo & other shooting nick-knacks for the whole summer. Grilled up some burgers & had a couple cold ones with the old lady.
Now I'm taking my 3 year old boy on his first camping trip (pup-tent in the back yard). We're going to sleep out here tonight & he is totally psyched. I have my laptop out here with me on wifi
I wish every rapture could be this good.
