So, when a teenager points out that she knows more about the Constitution than a political "leader", and wants to debate the fact with the public official, the Tea Party "Patriots" think that threatening to publish her family's home address and threatening her with violence and RAPE is a proper response?!?!

One of these days, someone will actually act on the perverse fantasies that they spew from their trailer park dwellings... of course, the spin will always make them look like a fringe element and not "one of them *cough*Tucson*cough*

Nor do I. Threats are not protected by free speech so these people should be under investigation anyway. Of course the Tea Party and Bachmann would denounce the actions but they NEVER denounce the speech. They are all cowards.

Of course if something violent were to happen to this girl, the Tea Party would hide behind the First Amendment, Just like O'Reilly did with the assassination of Dr. George Tiller, and Beck did with the guy in Calif. who got into the gun battle with cops on the way to kill members of The Tides Foundation and the ACLU. Neither Beck or O'Reilly were prosecuted.

Maybe the LGC should donate funds to the family for the purchase of a firearm and training....

It's past time to start calling these guys out. Any Tea Party friendly candidate should be confronted with this shit and asked point blank, in front of cameras, to denounce all the violent imagery, rhetoric, and innuendo.
And if they hesitate, waffle, or are in any way vague in their response, it should be considered tacit endorsement and their names should be constantly associated with all teabagger nutjobbery.

Someone should point out to those nitwits and the abortion clinic creeps that that tactic is the same one extremists use whenever someone draws a picture of Mohammed.

I have always maintained that there were fascist elements to the Tea Party, and these threats of rape and violence simply substantiate my this long-held contention of mine. The totalitarian nature of the Tea Party continues to be exposed.

We need to combat the fake-lefts that want us to remain disarmed in the face of threats like these. Their vile propaganda only serves to ensure that the right-wing has a near monopoly on firearms ownership. And such right-wing dominance of firearm ownership is used in the propaganda of anti-gun fake-lefts (they try to paint gun ownership as turning people into armed, violent, semi-illiterate, white trash hicks). In short, the violent right-wingers and fake-lefts feed off of and reinforce each other.
