Flag burning in my back yard

So here is a vid of a bunch of students counter-protesting a guy who is about talk shit about the goverment. I dont have all the details, but from what I could find, what happened was some guy named Islava?,( a student ), burned the flag that was flying in front of the school. I dont know exactly why, but looks like he was mad at the establishment ( US govm't ). So he was arrested and charged with arson, theft, and some other fucking thing. So some other guy announced that he was gonna come to the lawn and read some rant about how he is mad at the establishment too. Well what happened was all the morons that come out to counter protest, thought that the second guy was gonna defend the first guy and talk shit about America in general, like our way of life. So they came to tear him a new one. Luckily a bunch of semi-reluctant cops were there to save him. What pisses me off about this whole thing is the shit they are telling him, like " Get out of this fucking country you fucking hippie" and such. It absolutely pisses me off when people assume that just because I disagree with my governments policies, or that I`m anti-war, they assume that I`m a tree hugging hippie, and that I am also anti-gun, anti-jesus, and un-patriotic.

Now, my thoughts on this. The first guy that took the flag down is a moron not for burning the flag, but for burning the flag in front of the school, so yes he should get arrested for arson, or whatever. But the second guy had every right to read his little insignificant poem, cause its his 1st amendment right, not to mention the fact that he had the permission of the campus to go out on the lawn and read his little story. Now, what pisses me off is like I said before, why the fuck am I un-patriotic if I dont agree with everything my government does, like the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, or when they try to be world police of my tax money, not to mention that they are wasting a lot of our young peoples lives. Doesn't that make me more fucking patriotic? This is why I tell my sister that I really dont give a shit what kind of degree someone has, just because you got a college degree does not mean you are smart or sane for that matter. I meet plenty of people in my daily life who are college proffesors or they just happen to have a masters degree in something and they have no fucking idea what year the Constitution was written. For fucks sake, my English teacher in college had like 2 masters degree's and the bitch had no idea where Europe was on the map. I am so sick of this country taking one step forward and two steps back. And its because of Tea bagging morons like these, we are way past due for some progress, and it is my opinion that it is not a problem of just money or logistics, but the fact that most people are ignorant zombies who drink their daily Fox news Kool-Aid.

I want to know who the marine and soldier were so I can make them do push ups for showing up to a political function in uniform.

"USA USA USA! TRAITOR!!!" Do you support Obama? "FUCK THAT MUSLIM TRAITOR! HE RUINED OUR COUNTRY!" Criticism is apparently okay when you don't agree with liberals. :hmm:

I dont think even they know what the hell they stand for. It more like evolutionary instinct to go where the wolf pack goes. And as far as the marine goes, I am really sorry that his brother died, not for this country but for a bunch of rich crooks who made millions off of brave young men like his brother.

I remember watching the police riot in Chicago circa 1968 Democratic National Convention..."Love it or leave it"...the rhetoric of the moron hasn't changed in 40 years, probably a lot longer than that.

I seriously doubt that any more than a relative few in that crowd has a clue about what the bill of rights is all about, representative of the t-bag mentality as a whole I am certain.

Quite sad when one thinks about it.

Ahhh...LSU, my alma mater.

Actually, I'm impressed. When I was there in the early 1990s, the left was NEVER able to get a demo like that together. We tried to get a chapter of Amnesty Int'l started in 1993, and we were lucky if we got 3 people to show up for our meetings.

I find it funny that these Confederate apologists are screaming "USA! USA!" and defending the flag--symbol of the hated federal government. Seems to me they should be burning the flag along with the "hippies."

If he wants to burn a flag, that's his choice and he is protected by the BOR. That is as long as it's his flag and he is not trespassing when doing it.
