I was a 3 pack a day smoker when I quit at the age of 40, shortly after a friend of mine died of throat cancer. It was not a pleasant death.
That was 23 years ago. If I hadn't quit, I would probably be dead now too, or confined to a wheelchair with an oxygen bottle for company.
You owe it to yourself, and to your family.

I got bronchitis about 18 years ago, that was the end though I had starts and stops before the end. I've seen too many people walking around with oxygen bottles suffering from COPD, likely caused by smoking.

Last years annual meeting at the range. I will let the others self identify.
Also, I quit a 2 pack a day habit in 1998. Cold turkey. Gotta want to do it, which is different from needing to do it

That's the rifle I broke. I also made comedian very unhappy about not being able to reassemble his Ruger
Tis year, my goal is to not break anyone else's stuff

It may have, but think the rear sight fell off while I was shooting it.
We were unkind to that rifle.

No cool photos here, but it's the best I can do in a very small state.
