Totally awesome! Not only is there a gun show just in time for me wanting to handle a variety of 1911s for future thought... but also some of the vendors just might be in a "End Of Business" state of mind, possibly even thinking they might disappear in the middle of it all!

We have one in Dallas also this weekend. I'm going to clean up with a wad of post-rapture dollars!!

Do we know what time the rapture will be? I bet they'll make up some bs story about I being scheduled for an hour after the show. That way they won't give on any prices.

"Counselors and psychiatrists have been stationed at Post Offices all over the USA to deal with the disappointment of Atheists when they realize that so few American Christians qualify that the GOP will probably be able to maintain it’s majority in the House, although it’s unlikely they will take the Senate."

I better head to the post office now and get in line. I suspect they will be busy.

I had a similar thought...
What if they miscalulated the date of the rapture (divinity students maybe not so strong in math) and it already happened a while ago -- but no one qualified to be raptured. so it passed unnoticed.
As far as I can see, if Christians are required to live up to their own standards (you know, the ones they like to impose upon everyone else), then Christian heaven will be forever empty.

If we're lucky it'll only happen to the ones who believe in it. Which might be fun to watch, the way people vaporized in that War of the Worlds movie with Tom Cruise.

Actually they have been miscalculating for at least a 1000 years.
