I too have worked some clubs where I wouldn't want to be alone...or in company for that matter...
Do you know how to shoot? I am not sure you have said so or not, though you did post that thing about the bump stock...and I don't want to insult you by suggesting otherwise, but it seems to me the quickest method for eliminating any possibility of getting a carry permit would be to present yourself as unfamiliar with firearms to any certifying authority.
The rest is just by the numbers.
Edit:

You mean discriminate against somebody for the type of establishment that they are employed in? Jesus -girl, the NRA would love to eat that up.

As long as you're old enough and pass whatever background check and safety course they require, you can get a gun. In the meantime, carry some mace or pepper spray. It might be a better alternative anyhow. When you pull out a gun, people get nervous and reach for theirs, or at the very least, call the cops. And if you ever did have to shoot someone, it comes with a lot of life-changing consequences.

Need to get a special FID for pepper spray. No class required an only costs 25 bucks.
Only Brady denials can affect either. Not sure they are going to care you are a dancer. It really depends on the town you live in for the class A.

AmirMortal If I don't get some sleep before work tonight, I wont look like a fox. Goodnight.
I don't think that your profession should hurt your chances of getting a carry permit unless you were doing something illegal. Dancing or waitress work at a club is legal so you should be okay.
I think that Inquisitor has it covered on the permit issues being as he is from Massachusetts.

I think you'll still need 3 permits... the MA resident permit, NH's non res permit ($100) and Maine's non res permit ($60).

I actually need a ME non-resident. Got a link (maybe new thread)?

Hmm, do you have to carry a gun? Would pepper spray be a better alternative for you since you cross so many state lines? Get your Massachusetts permit squared away, and then worry about the rest of northern New England. Pepper spray with kick boxing will stop just about anyone not high on PCP, right? Just my .02.
edit: Holy crap! I forgot to say hi! Welcome to the LGC!

Where you going to keep your piece if you're a dancer? Do you trust that it won't be stolen?
Some Pepper spray or a Taser like the C2 (
http://www.stungunmall.com/taser-c2.html) would probably best fit your needs.
By the way if you're twenty-five and you graduated college... maybe it's time that you write like you're a college grad. Just sayin'.

Man, come late to the party and you miss ALL the good chances. Glad I read up before posting. I'm just gonna sit over here and watch the show...

For starters, correct spelling always helps.

Thanks. Don't get up there often, but it's a hole in my permitting. Looks pretty straightforward. How long are they good for?

If you could post some pics of you in your work outfit it might help some of our holster makers design a concealment rig for you.

I almost want to bet the op is male and the picture of him in overalls, posing with the bumpstock, is not a becoming image.
Hopefully I'm wrong.

Hey now, give her the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps she's a fine arts major who focused on creating "collage" in college.

Is living in Massachusetts really all that is required for being accepted as a liberal these days?

Excuse me for spelling mistakes. I am dyslexic, which is not common in females. To the nice people I appreciate your help. To the idiot that seems to want to make fun of me.
DON'T LIKE ME? FUCK OFF! Problem solved!
Question before I am off. If someone sells me a LCP, can I buy it, and bring it back to Boston to keep in my apartment. How do I know that it is not stolen.
And to the person who wants photos I don't think so. You could not afford it honey

You'd be surprised what some of us could afford. Feel free to pm me what clubs you work at. I'm always up for looking at some baby makers for 20 nickels

Your story does strain credibility, but I'll play along.
First of all, see my signature, this is not legal advice, just anectdotal. I am a firearms instructor, but not far from a legal expert, so, ask a lawyer.
I don't think the LCP is MA Legal, so I am actually unsure about bringing on into the state to begin with, and even if it were, you could not do that legally without a Class A permit. You have to get a permit or you are committing a crime. I think the only exceptions to that are when you move here, with weapons, from out of state, then you have a grace period to get legal.
In MA, I believe if you acquire the firearm out of state, you have to fill out a transfer form (usually the seller has to do that, but since the seller is out of state, I think the buyer is obligated).
You have no way of knowing if a private seller acquired the pistol legally, so if you are unsure, I would avoid the sale.
In short, you need to get a permit. If you north of the city, there are some good places in Lowell (A&G Guns runs a good, 1 day NRA class) that run classes regularly. ~100 bucks or so, they can answer a lot of questions for you in the class.
