Bro, you should hear the conversations at work. I listened for half an hour as two of the guys I work with discussed going up to a butter bar LT, sniffing her hair, and saying shit like "Mmmm cinnamon" which then led into different types of fish... We probably spend most of our day discussing different ways to make people feel uncomfortable. Tax payer dollars at work!

Because i'm a little insane myself, I'm seeking help on a gun forum. That much should be obvious but also because i'm bored here, i've been sending out resume's all day long.

sadly EVERYTHING you said makes sense. Unfortunately I just can't turn gay. thought about it for a while when rex had a crush on me, but I just can't get aroused by men.... sorry.

Just the statement that she will get back together "when you get your act together" is a major red flag. It isn't that we all don't have parts of ourselves that we should or want to correct. The problem is the attitude. She is setting conditions for her acceptance. That is never a good thing because it becomes a power struggle. You have to live up to her expectations now or else she will leave you again? Screw that!

We all have desires and expectations for our partners, but when we meet someone who we really love and care about, we accept the good and the bad. Obviously if the person is abusive, a drunk, a cheater, or has other other major problems, then you need to get out for your own good. Other things are just part of who we are.

Don't do it dude. If you have problems major enough to send her running, then you probably need to be alone and work them out. If you don't, then she is manipulating you and trying to make you into something you aren't. Either way, it will not end well.

I think for now i'm going to let the fatesdecide this one for me. I've applied to every major weapons firm as a sales representative, and I've gotten back from one already that "while we are not looking to hire right now, your resume' and experience are impressive and we would like to keep your resume' on file."
