Yip, could be. I can't take the guy seriously. He's got the stupid stamp of approval on his forehead.Van wrote:I have noticed that Obama has been looking/acting a bit cocky lately.....
Think maybe Huckabee bowed out because he thinks Obama is a shoe-in for a second term?
Be the tepidly mixed corporate conservadem new receiver of a lot of corporate monies for keeping the populace happy while not substantiating bedrock change?larrymod wrote:What the hell is the Dem's plan?
Nah. Huckabee looked at that big contract he has with Fox/RNC-TV and decided that (muck)raking in the cash outweighed running for an office that he knew he could not winVan wrote:I have noticed that Obama has been looking/acting a bit cocky lately.....

Of course he does. Ryan and Ron Paul serve the same purpose for the Republicans as Kuchinich does for the Democrats. They show a view so far into the extreme on their side that people who aren't quite as far over look normal.AdAstra wrote:Newt puts down Ryan's plan:

I’ve met Huckabee before and he’s a very sharp guy…completely wrong, but very sharp and a rather likable guy. Aside from politics, he has a down-hominess about him that makes you feel like you could kick back in front of the tube with a cold one and watch a game with the pre-eminent right winger.Van wrote:I have noticed that Obama has been looking/acting a bit cocky lately.....

That, and let the actual trials begin. I hope this pursuit of Ensign, even after he pulled the ejector cord on his senate seat, is just the harbinger for a return to a nation where all are equal under the law.FrontSight wrote: It’s killing me to watch, but Obama’s move to the center is shrewd politically. I just pray to God that this move to the center is to win a second term, where he can push a liberal energy policy HARD.
And maybe get a chance to replace Kennedy on the SC. Start undoing some of this crap that's happened because of a wing-nut court.FrontSight wrote:
