First, I'm photographing my friend's wedding & reception, then after that, a bunch of us, including the happy couple, will pile into a limo and head down to Invesco Field at Mile Hi Stadium to see U2.

I sure hope Armageddon can wait until at least the encore, those tickets weren't cheap, you know!

Awesome, they've got a great rig. I built a big setup for Springsteen at Invesco back in '03. Odd surrounding area. Too bad about the rapture though, did they give any indication what time that would start? I would think the biggest risk would be all the unmanned cars careening around the streets during and after the rapture. But hey, maybe the show won't be as crowded?

It could really add to the show a bunch of naked people floating up in the sky. Hopefully there will be some really hot looking women who are devout.

The devout NEVER include the hot people...

I plan on taking part in some post-rapture looting.

I'm with ya there. Here's hoping the faithful in my town haven't sold their 65" plasma TVs to pay for all those billboards.

The ones that thought they would be raptured and find that the bus left without them will likely turn very VERY psychotic, and become more devout than almost imaginable. Literally, a devoutness just barely within the boundaries of imagination. If you think jehovah witnesses are the definition of perseverance in their efforts to proselytize door to door, imagine someone who thinks they just missed the only plane ride to heaven and are now in competition for very limited space on the only ferry boat left.
Whoooooooooo... Buckle your chinstrap, that would be a hell of a ride. :weirdo:

Yeah, the math was wrong again. The rapture was the other night- it was happening when I recorded that video of the lightning. Hmmm, I notice that no major religious leaders are missing...I wonder why that could be? We'll see if anything else changes on saturday, but I think all those without sin already disappeared. All three of them across the globe.

As typical in Redneckistan (Mesa, AZ) there is ALREADY "panic buying". The local Wal-Marts put out emergency preparedness "kits" (a bunch of overpriced dehydrated food in bulk, cheap flashlights.. you get the drill) and they are selling out like MAD, along with the typical stuff that the uneducated by before a hurricane and such. Although, I honestly attribute it to the small percentage (although larger than in the rest of the US given the nature of population here: Mormon, more Mormon, White Supremacist, Tweakers and the few brave Mexicans and Liberals who live here to actually run the place) who actually DO buy into this crap, and the slightly larger percentage stockpiling because they're afraid everyone ELSE is going to do the same thing before them.

You know there is only one Irish band worth seeing on the day of the rapture and it ain't U2.

I see in my mind's eye the scene from Addams Family, with Bristol Palin, around the campfire...

Wednesday Addams says, "The rapture will give you back your old face! Muhahahahaha!"

It would be fun if there was a prankster out there with a lot of money who would replicate the scene from the HBO series six feet under and inflate a couple of thousand love dolls with helium and release them at the appropriate time. Anybody have any ideas about a good location for the maximum effect?

How about Van Morrisson? He can be pretty rapture-ish.

Winner winner I figure Shane could survive the rapture after all he put himself through. So it would be wise to stay close.

A little off topic but directed to you Sir Paladin, what if all this nonsense about end times on saturday is true? Better shoot that rifle before zero hour on the 21st.

Well I suppose that will work, based on a lot of your post you probably won't be raptured anyways, but I might not be around to see the results.
