I ran into Simmer!

I was at the Irving Gun Show earlier today. "Simmer down" spotted me wandering the aisles, came up and said hi. We had a nice chat about random gun stuff and LGC before I headed out. Funny, I had 2 boxed guns stashed in my shoulder bag while I was standing in the aisle talking to Simmer. The tops of the boxes were barely visible, and in the span of maybe 10 minutes, two different guys sidled up to us and inquired if I was selling anything. First guy stood there and hung around so long I assumed he was a friend of Simmer's before there was a lull in the conversation and he asked if I was selling. Maybe I should start acquiring some cheapo pistols to make some private sales for profit while I wander these shows. Great to see Simmer. I spoke to him at the range once, but didn't dawn on me that it was him till later.
My hands and the interior of my shoulder bag (not the new MOAB Rush man bag BTW) reek of stale perfume.
One of the acquisitions I made today was a Rossi .38 snub in polished stainless, like new in original box. The private seller told me he got it from an elderly widow, and I assume the gun in box spent its previous years in a dresser drawer with her lotions and perfume. The smell seems to have impregnated the rubber grip. Looks like it has been fired very little. Polished mirror finish is flawless. It's no S&W, but trigger is surprisingly smooth in DA, though a bit on the heavy side. Not a major investment at $220 out the door. I plan to give this one away as a gift if it proves reliable at the range.

So now I'm curious, were you wearing an lgc hat our something? How did you recognize each other?

Yeah, I guess Mvelimir and I were able to make each other at a random gas station.
Edit: of course, we had discussed the meeting spot, and I was wearing an lgc hat...

Ha, that's awesome. Funny, that fifth sense must be heavy to tell me theres NO LGC members or them alike anywhere near here.

A while back I saw a guy shooting a couple of nice looking revolvers at my gun range. I was curious about his guns and chatted briefly with him on my way out. On the drive home it occurred to me that Simmer from LGC once posted pics of pistols exactly like the pair this guy was shooting. I later confirmed via private message that it was him. So we had seen each other in person once before.

Any of you DFW folks have bumped into flemco?
There was another forum fella from the area too (Ogre?).
So far I've met Simmer Down, Zapp and TxChinaman...
