I had heard of them, but never actually, uh.. looked. Thanks, Mark.

"The original and most widely worn concealed holster available anywhere in the world?"

Really?

If they want to claim, "the world's first and last jockstrap for your gun," I would happily give them the honors.

Spoke too soon. There's competition in this, uh, niche: http://www.smartcarry.com/photos.html (linked straight to the undie shots for your viewing pleasure).

Neither of their FAQs address what I consider to be the fundamental question: If you're willing to stick your hand in your junk and scream "I HAVE A WEAPON" when confronted by a threat, do you even need a gun?

Is that gun in your shorts, or are you just happy to see me?

(Sorry, someone had to say it.) Edit: Damn it Larrymod! Jynx!

Neither of those options look very comfortable to me.

As amusing as this is, I know that there is at least one person on this forum who uses a smartcarry holster, but I can't remember who it was. I actually know a few folks who use these, and for a small pistol, they work very well, and I've actually been considering picking one of these up for a while. Thunderwear is the knock-off, and apparently the guy who started that one used to work with/for the Smartcarry guy.

Even if one chooses not to carry a gun there, the system has some advantages for concealing cash and credit cards over a traditional wallet. Just a thought. "Sure, you can have my wallet. Here, take it, and have a nice day." ...might be a little awkward for a cell phone though...
