I hope. We should never be on X thats for sure. Now that Suckerburg is a bootlicker we shouldn't be on FG either.

Perhaps post was made via U.S. Post. Self adhesive stamps are a boon to tongueless bots.

I'm not familiar enough with this place to judge, but this type of thing seems as far as I can tell, not such an issue on other gun related forums. Admittedly, Cast Boolits would put a bot into sleep mode quick. It is frustrating.

I'm not against adding a presence to BlueSky, like on facebook and so on. Adding a presence will increase our footprint, so we'll keep this old school forum as well, I think.

If I recall LGC is on Facebook and Discord, fragment again onto another platform like Bluesky? Not my call. I don't know anything about LGC on X formerly Twitter.

What are you talking about? There's nothing suspicious about the timestamps you quote. Someone joined the server and then posted a question. Nothing unusual about that at all.


And speaking for myself, I'd rather see the LGC on Mastodon instead of BlueSky. We should avoid being on yet another coprorate site.

At the time I posted that, from my interpretation of those time stamps, it appeared to me that they hadn't been on the site since the 2nd and yet their post was written and posted on the 8th. Today it says they were last on the site on the 8th, if it had said that yesterday I wouldn't have questioned it.
I would still question it as a curious 1st post from a newly joined member.

I wouldn't be surprised if the "last on site" value is not updated in real time.

My first social media - as posted elsewhere - my protest against Musk/X - since I can't boycott something I don't use. Someone needs to come up with a FB/META now MAGA competitor that I would feel comfortable joining. LOL

Also FYI I killed our Twitter account ages ago. We stopped posting there a very long while ago and I thought I had deleted everything last summer. I may have let the account stay there so nobody would take the name but it’s definitely been dormant for a while.
