Why is the board so slow?

I haven't been using the board much lately except to check for spam reports and other complaints. This is the first time I've heard about this. It seems just fine in my browser, though, so I don't know what to say. Are there specific pages that are slow? Is it trying to do specific things, like posting, uploading and iamge, etc? Also, how slow is "slow"? Are we talking about pages taking more than 10 seconds to load?

Hmm. It took about 24 seconds send my last post. That is slow. I'll have to check on the server. Maybe it's getting low on disk space or something.

And the second post went through almost instantly. Could be a caching issue in that case. So many possibilities

It's still slow with original postings. Searching is very slow if that helps.

testing testing testing. hehe Six seconds after the preview. I was having to double click to force the post, then of course you get the dummy message.
And 27 seconds for the edit I just did.
I have super duper gaming internet speed too.

I just got a couple of can't handle the request type messages. Of course if I choose the Reload option I immediately get nowhere.

I had assumed that my slowdown was due to the ET internet contraption thingy here having clouds and possibly Sputnik blocking our view of Heaven. The speed for another gun type internut site without all the fun bits like this one, is as it should be. I sense something smelly afoot.

I've been getting "This page isn't working" messages when clicking on threads. Or when clicking on "Active Topics". Must be "gremlins from the Kremlin".

It just freezes, I had to exit and reenter because I kept getting "This page isn't working." Beware if you hit Submit twice it will double post.

Definitely something wrong on the site. Slow to load and sometimes freezes.

Other places are getting a similar treatment. I suspect some kind of AI platform engine was released into the wild. Script kiddies pounce.
