Blowback action is really harsh.
The blowback bolt for an Uzi could be used as an outdoor doorstop. The one for Ruger’s PCC is much smaller, not quite as much mass. But it sports a much larger stock and frame.

Something something not the size of the bolt but the motion of the carrier something.

I did not know that. Does gas come back to the shooter's face? Sounds like a must-miss feature.

Yeah, it's counter intuitive. I'd bought an old version of Ruger's Police Carbine thinking it would be a great soft shooter. Nope. Way more felt recoil than an AR due to the mass of the bolt. Not that it wasn't manageable, but I was looking for something for my wife. Plus, those old carbines are really heavy. But, sold it for what I bought it, so no harm done.

That new S&W at 5 pounds is pretty attractive, especially since I already have the first gen M&P9 so mags are compatible.

I have a few ideas. Difficulty? I don’t have an airbrush any more
Sounds like you need a single bristle attached to a handle, and a couple dozen tiny bottles of paint. Pointillism will make these long winter nights fly by!

I need to stay up late (or get up at 4 AM) and get my Imperial Stormtrooper PCC ready for its close-up to spam this thread. It should take very little time to finish but I've been procrastinating forever, as is my wont when not faced with a deadline.

Also gotta decide whether to put on the 1x red dot I already have or order a cheap 3x or 4x prism scope for it, and save the red dot for the Weigand rail that I bought over a year ago for the Redhawk and have also been procrastinating over.

Seems like at least one of these belongs here. My toys with new sights mounted on each. A 10/22 and a Hi-Point 9 mm wearing High Tower Armory costumes, and a more conventional 10/22 for scale. Sorry the lighting and color balance is terrible.

I need to get another tennis racket bag so both bullpups can play peekaboo. Or I guess that's a strip-tease, in the context of this thread.

The bullpup trigger on the 10/22 isn't too terrible, if anyone is curious, but on the Hi-Point it really does suck an abundance of ass.
