Happy to join, looking forward to learning more and growing my community, hopefully some Southeast PA peoples.
Married, Cat Dad, DnD DM working on second long term campaign. Desperately want a homestead, have been studying and researching for years on that front, with soooo many plans. Too expensive still to begin, unfortunately.
Started ownership this year.
I got a range permit, concealed license. Just training the basics for now, but I do want to learn proper hunting maybe in a year or so to pad my skills.
Defense: M&P FPC 9mm, M&P 2.0 9mm (days ago)
Hunting: Haven't learned much beyond basic understanding here but I got a Rock Island TM22 to train accuracy on the cheap, before I buy a 308. I'm trying to plan a longer range Precision Rifle build that won't break my budget.

2Welcome. Well aware of what it is to be a cat dad, but had to look up DnD DM.

4Welcome from northern California. Might I suggest something for the bolt gun build? Snag a Yugoslavian post war Mauser 24/47 and re-barrel it to .308. Spend most on the barrel. I've done a few builds, and they are really fun. 1947 was the year Yugoslavia went to the semi auto AK-47. They had already built all those Mausers on German machines after the war, so they just put them away unfired. True story, bro.

11Hello, from Portland OR area. First gun club. Ding ding!
First gun was 1979 in WI. I was a 12 year old and it was a Christmas gift. A single shot 16 gauge for hunting deer, pheasant and ruffed grouse. I remember seeing it wrapped and peeking between the paper folds to see it’s woodwork and trigger. I was so excited and a little nervous. Still have it today!
