Minority groups, others file amicus brief in opposition Rhode Island magazine ban

Ocean State Tactical v. Rhode Island

Presumably in response to the outcome of this:
Rhode Island Democrats push bills to ban possession of semi-auto carbines, std-cap mags

The groups take issue with the First Circuit ignoring Bruen and going right to interest balancing in its zeal to uphold the ban, among other things.

Good catch featureless. Counsel of Record for Ocean State Tactical is Clement & Murphy, that is Paul Clement and Erin Murphy. Paul Clement won the Bruen case for NYSRPA at SCOTUS.
National African American Gun Association, Inc. (“NAAGA”), Asian Pacific American Gun Owners Association (“APAGOA”), DC Project Foundation, Inc. (“DCPF”), Operation Blazing Sword, Inc. (operating as Operation Blazing Sword - Pink Pistols) (“OBSPP”), and The Liberal Gun Club (“LGC”) are associations with thousands of members residing throughout the United States, including Rhode Island.
Hopefully SCOTUS grants cert.
