Re: Massachusetts couple's checked pistols stolen at CLT or BOS

The story doesn't say, but I hope the FBI or ATF is involved. Hopefully x-ray or some other analysis method verified that the gun was locked in a case at Charlotte and the owner didn't make it up. Since we can't put our own locks on suitcases anymore, I've been concerned that it was only time before guns went missing. People who scan the luggage would know if there is a gun, they have inside info that it's been declared.

That would really piss me off. Once, I flew with my guitar (Martin D-35). I had to check it. I slackened the strings and watched it head into baggage. When I got to the destination and baggage claim, there it came. Right there on the floor I opened the case to check it. It was fine. But never again. That was about 1975 when my guitar was only a couple years old. Now it's over fifty and, and in the dry summer it sounds like an angel singing from a rose petal; wet season volume is like the angel is wearing an unbuttoned Eisenhower jacket. I was lucky. I feel for those folks.

They didn't find anything, so the TSA can just fly up a fat guys ass for lunch!

Asking why got me no answers, so no flying for me.
You prolly smelled like gunpowder and set off the sensor. hehe
I got taken aside by some young punk that frisked me after the scanner and it did'nt go off. It was for training purposes me thinks.
