Hey all, I figure this is probably the intended way to introduce myself so I'll say that I'm here looking to chat about gun things and hopefully find some like minded folks who are closer to me than Eugene, OR, lol. I haven't done the forum thing in years and I mostly live on Discord now but I'll see if I can make this work.
If folks know about any local groups/meetups/etc in or around Roseburg, OR, I would be grateful! Also if anyone nearby could use any 3d printed accessories (NOT lowers or anything prohibited by anti-ghost gun laws), I end up printing way too many angled foregrips and 10/22 mods so hit me up.
Happy to share parts/tools/knowledge, whatever's helpful!

2Howdy and welcome from Houston!

3It doesn't help you at all, but one of my stepdaughters used to live in Corvallis, and before that, near Medford. She's in Kentucky now.
We can certainly discuss gun stuff here, though!
Eventually I'll figure out this signature thing and decide what I want to put here.

4Welcome from Southern California !
I've been through Douglas County and Roseburg a number of times, beautiful area. We're in the midst of a very divisive national election, but we'll get back to talking guns soon.

5Welcome from northern California. Roseburg is where lumber comes from. Northern California is the land of fruits and nuts. And the Sierra Nevada Brewery. Lots of shooters here. What's your favorite caliber?

Roseburg is where lumber comes from, you are absolutely correct! I have a number of friends in California with guns but they're almost all exclusively for hunting. My favorite caliber is probably 5.56, though I aspire to become a 5.7 enjoyer someday. I need to pick a hunting caliber eventually probably (does 300 blackout count?)
Re: Hi from Southern Oregon (Roseburg?!)
75.56 recoil is slight enough to qualify as a fun gun, in my opinion. Some of my bigger calibers are not as fun as they sued to be. Hunting caliber is a good topic. Unless you reload, 5.7 can get pricey unless you reload. Reloading and shooting stuff for fun go together.
