Re: The Apprentice movie 2024

I've seen a trailer for the movie. I haven't been inside a theater in over four years, and even before then rarely went to movies with friends. Socializing by going to a movie usually meant going to some action movie that threatened to deafen me one second and had dialogue so quiet I could barely hear it the next.

There have been movies I thought might be fun to see, but, especially since the onset of COVID, I haven't wanted to be in theaters. Since COVID is still a thing, and since I have kin who are immunocompromised, I have to be careful.
Eventually I'll figure out this signature thing and decide what I want to put here.

My first awareness of the orange one was about 1990, during the torrid affair with the person who became his second wife. I had all but sworn off television by then.

Background: When I moved out of my mother's house in '84, I didn't have the money to buy a TV. for well over a decade, every time I had enough money, there were other things that had become more important, in part because I had spent years using the resources of public libraries, the stereo in my car, and stereo components gifted to me for entertainment, along with outdoor activities (cycling, walking in the woods, and eventually canoeing) instead of watching TV. When in a room with a TV on, I found TV annoying, especially sit-coms. Over the last twenty years, I found that if I wanted mindless entertainment, I could watch YouTube videos and "contribute" to various online forums.

So, when I read about "The Donald" and his "reality" show, I didn't see anything suggesting that it would be worth my time to watch.

I'm waiting for more reviews to help me decide whether watching the movie would be cathartic in any way. I have read that TOS is angry about the movie and how it makes him look.
