Per the author, passing constitutional carry "took away a significant source of revenue from sheriffs departments throughout Alabama." I gather that means Alabama sheriffs are on board with making inroads against it as well.

The interim Montgomery police chief likes the ordinance as well.

And let me guess if you're a white good ole' boy you might get a warning, but if you're a minority you lose your gun and still pay a fine if you're lucky.
