Oh man, I haven't had that since I was a teenager.
Love it, the crunchy jicama and the creamy peanut butter. It's up there with bananas and peanut butter.CDFingers wrote: Mon Jan 06, 2025 10:54 am Crunchy peanut butter on a slice of jicama. Ah, sweet. Yeah, peeling is a drag. I use a potato peeler. Watch the fingers.

That sounds really good, I haven't had scallops in a long time. Wino's recipes are always mouthwatering.... mid afternoon snack of six bacon wrapped, pan seared, large sea scallops...
This is exactly why I buy one bar at a time. To me, the dark is so rich that I can do like six squares off a bar and be satisfied for minutes on end. One bar lasts me about ninety minutes. If I drink coffee with it, I can do three more squares. Yeah: my local natural foods store luckily does not stock all varieties all the time, so it's been at least a week since I could get the raspberry one. I ball up the foil and try to hit the trash can from my chair. Fifty percent from the floor. ;-)Wino wrote: Wed Jan 15, 2025 11:12 am CDF - I don't know whether to thank you or put you on ignore!! I had never heard of Endangered Species until your post above. I went to their web site and found many delicious combos of chocolate & fruits. While their products are available in some stores in my area, none that are convenient nor have much of a selection (based on web search). Long story short, just dropped $95 on their web site for four different versions of 72% chocolate (mint, raspberries, cherries, Espresso) and one 60% (cinnamon, cayenne & cherry), all in in six pack quantities. Did get a 10% discount for first order with free shipping. I love chocolate, but have a problem controlling my eating until all gone, so generally avoid buying when shopping i.e. I make a mess when I buy Kisses in large bag due to having to unwrapped tin foil, which is a pediment of foil debris. Oh, well! At least it's for a good cause. LOL
Having run last night out of broccoli, this morning I headed to the natural foods store for that and a few other things. As luck would have it, the latest flavor of Endangered Species dark chocolate they displayed was raspberry. I have collected the precious and have retreated to the kitchen, ducking behind a pot of strong coffee.Wino wrote: Wed Jan 15, 2025 11:12 am CDF - I don't know whether to thank you or put you on ignore!! My health foods store carries beer. It's a co-op, so the customers own it. I've been a member for over three decades.highdesert wrote: Sun Jan 19, 2025 2:30 pm I usually buy dark chocolate with 80% cacao and nothing else, dark chocolate is supposed to be good for the heart. The health foods store in my town is really small, next week I go down to the big store so I'll see what they have in dark chocolate.
