Shake-awake RDS for Home Defense pistol

1
My designated HD pistol is a P09 that came to me with a Vortex Venom (I think) RDS mounted. I looked on the Vortex sight, and get the sense that they mostly meant it for rifle mounting (rail), but am also told that it has a "Docter" footprint for more direct mounting.

The one thing I dislike about this RDS is that it doesn't have "shake awake" mode.

So, I'm looking for a RDS that has the shake awake functionality and that will mount to my pistol without further modification, if such can be found.

My first trip through the rabbit hole of a web search brought up Cyelee products. Are they any good? I'm sure there are better (read: more expensive) products on the market.

This gun will probably not see severe service, as home invasions seem pretty rare where I live. Indoor range time to make sure I can bring it to bear on a target with reasonable speed will probably be the majority of its use.

Good, reasonably-priced, suggestions welcome, and thanks in advance!

Eventually I'll figure out this signature thing and decide what I want to put here.

I switched all my carry and home defense pistols to Holosun HS507C's and HS507K's for all of the reasons featureless describes plus they feature the dot within a circle reticle and my eyes find that reticle very fast (instantly now) and it really gets me on target very fast. Plus they feature the ability to lock the side buttons/controls so settings don't change if I inadvertently hit the buttons.

Shake awake is cool but it's really more like touch awake. All the pistol has to do is move and the RDO is rocking.

I stopped at a locally-owned gun dealer today, to ask about options. The sales guy there told me that the Docter pattern is/was quite popular in Europe, and quite UNPOPULAR in the US. I hadn't prepped for this discussion, so hadn't taken the sight off the gun and gotten pictures.

This slide has apparently been machined specifically for the Docter/Noblex pattern, meaning that I have few options in locally-available red dot sights, and even fewer (ir any) that have auto-on (or touch-awake, or shake-awake) as a feature.

So it looks like I would have to either A) train really hard to turn on the sight when pulling it out of the nightstand drawer, or B) get an adapter plate and a different RDS for this home defense pistol (coincidentally, the gun I used for the 18/20 in a six-inch circle at fifteen yards target-shooting test as part of (hopefully) earning LGC Instructor certification).

While I was talking with this guy, I also asked about the pros/cons of green dot vs red dot. He gave me the sales pitch, which of course doesn't say "You should do this not that," but I wonder what y'all think about it. His take was that folks with astigmatisms tend to pick up the green dot faster and with less "flare," and alluded to something I had seen in a different context: That humans detect many more shades of green than any other primary or secondary color for some reason (evolution?). Other things being equal, it almost seems as if a green dot would be better for a home defense gun than a red dot *for me,* but I'm also open to better information to help me decide.
Eventually I'll figure out this signature thing and decide what I want to put here.
