Where are ya Curt?

He has his own forum. You can go say hi. I think its still up and running. It was fairly popular.
Really? What's it called?

Guys who got robbed by strippers?

My Russian mail order bride is divorcing me and taking everything?

I generally liked Curtis, he and I had a couple major things in common. Some other things, not so much...

I was very surprised when he took his ball and went home that day.

I can't really say I miss him.

He was against others having guns because he was unable to control his own impulses, yet he was willing to break the law to have his. From a thread about guns on campus:

curtism1234 wrote:No, guns should not be allowed on campus. I know for a fact that more kids on campus are drunk after 6pm than not drunk...and that's on a dry campus !!!...

curtism1234 wrote:As far as 21 and up not being drunk on campus...the group I ran with from 21-23 was trashed 24/7 with booze, blow, and aderole. Sometimes we stayed up for 4 or 5 days straight
I (half) remember one time we were outside arguing with a bunch of no good shitbums (who got thrown out later that semester). Some guy was mouthing off about my confederate flag in my room. I got mad and went back in via the window (that's how we went in and out since we were on the ground floor). Well he opened the window and tryed crawling in. I jumped up and slammed the windown down on his throat trying to choke him to death as everyone was prying me in and him out. You can bet all the money in the world that had I had a handgun in my room I would have killed him without a second thought concidering everyone's state of mind.
He was a sadist. Here's a real nugget that was referenced before:

He wanted to ban semi-autos, except of course for the 1911 he admitted to wanting to buy.

curtism1234 wrote:Ultimatly, it comes down to it being more of a semi-automic ban since manual action guns like the 870 magazine extention, Winchester 92, etc are prefectly legal though they both can exceed the 5 and 10 round limits.

This is the sort of common sense gun laws we need across the nation. It changes nothing for sportsmen, allows for a very reasonable (too reasonable when it comes to pistols imo) capacity for defense.
I disagreed with a whole hell of a lot of what he had to say. I can't really say I miss him.

ha...that was awesome. I actually miss lacowboy some. I think he was a decent guy deep down that had run out of patience and was saying hyperbolic things because of it. I liked his story about partying w Uncle Ted. There are actually several that don't post much anymore that used to be regulars: capnjim, richudson, yabuus (although he does post from time to time), pax, etc.

Just for a little more fun. Here's another classic from this particularly enlightened individual:

1. Women in the workplace is the single most harmfull thing that has happened in the history of the United States. It has driven the divorce rate up, has caused families to gain weight because no one cooks, kids run amuck on their own, and most importantly --- wages across the board are down (because now we assume a 2 family household so employers put the screws to everyone making their profits bigger).
For for a functional household/family, it is critical the mother remain at home.
Read his post, he also explains "niggers".

Mark? No, never, nor anyone else on this board. I actually tried to make peace with Ism at one point about a month or two before he left, but it didn't really take.

I totally miss capnjim, richudson, and pax. Rich was a wealth of knowledge as was Capn. Yabuus has been on this week, but yeah some of the older (not in age, although...) folks have not been on for a while. I think we ran Pax off. I blame Curtism :P

It seems like there are a group of us that post or respond more regularly, though at times things seem a tad slow. I do enjoy the Black Eagle sightings as well.

There were many things I agreed with lacowboy about but yes, he was definitely at the end of his rope on patience.

Actually he is fairly right on with this comment except he puts a misogynistic slant on it by implying that it is the woman working that is the problem, not the dual income dependent household.

Perhaps it was all of the long hours he was putting in as a greeter at Walmart.
That might explain it. He was witness to the splendor of America as evidenced here:

Wow, I don't even remember this horrible thread. Thanks everyone for digging up all our skeletons! Sheesh :P
