Carrying another of my Sig Sauer classic hammer fired pistols:

1
So today I'm carrying another of my classic hammer fired pistols but honestly it's just too hot to go to the range even though I need to see if the new night sights will bring my POI up about 3" at 25 yards. This one is my old German P220. The original sights were the 'Popsicle' style, a single white line rear and white dot front. As with all Sigs of that era it was also a 'combat' sight picture where POA was expected to be the POI covered by the front dot. It was close but when I used the standard sight picture almost all my other pistols use with the POA right on top of the front dot I ended up with a POI low.

The holster is a paddle from TT Leather with an Elephant overlay. In this image the original sights are still on it.

This is a 45acp single stack P220.

Here it is riding in the Andrews holster.
