Back to shooting my semi auto handguns and I have noticed that as I got older all of a sudden my hand strength for loading magazines has gotten to be....not as good as it was. Just picked up a Maglula Uplula magazine loader and *WoW* has this helped. It's only supposed to load mags between 9mm and 45 acp but this thing makes it a painless snap to load even my .380 acp and .32 acp magazines - even the high cap 13+ round mags are painless and simple now even at the last few rounds.
Highly recommended and I have no idea why I waited so long to put one of these in my range bag. It was taking me longer to load mags than to actually practice the last time I went to the range without this loader not to mention the sore fingers and cursing trying to load the 13th round into a double stack .380 magazine. Highly recommended especially for old people like mice elf!

For tight magazines, they are essential.

I've had an Uplula mag loader for years and I agree it works well. I picked up a Caldwell Pistol Loader awhile back, it works with different pistol calibers.

A Baby Uplula (32 and 380) came with my LCP2. Definitely makes life easier.

Keep two (double stack and single stack) in each range bag and a couple near the ammo.

Yeah these are a great addition to a range trip where time is limited. When I forget to toss mine into the range bag I regret it.

One lives in the range bag, another lives where the bulk pistol ammo is. Yet another (this one purple) lives in the safe where my spouse can get to it.
I've had one since late 2020, and added a couple more over time.

I have both the Caldwell and the UpLula. Both are great. I carry the UpLula because most of what I shoot is double-stack 9mm. Bright color ones are easier to find in your range bag. The pink one is less likely to be stolen. Whatever color you have I recommend you tie them to your bag help prevent theft. Use a long 550 cord to make use easier and theft harder.

Have one in range bag, one on workbench and one spare in misc. drawer. Leaving one on workbench only to discover this at range, broke me from sucking eggs - thus the other two. I believe one of them is a cheap Chinese knockoff.
