I'm really not in the market for another pistol. The N+1 bug isn't biting me, and I don't have the funds to allocate right now.
I keep telling myself that, anyway.
Even so, just because I like to look around from time to time, I was on GunJoker and saw a CZ PCR with Dawson fiber optic sights, and it piqued my interest. I have a PCR, and it's usually my EDC piece (my other current EDC is my P07). I have considered shipping the slide to be milled for a red dot sight, but I don't really want a RDS for a carry piece because I don't want it to snag on stuff as I draw. I am also reluctant to spend the money.
Like one or two others here, I'm dealing with some age-related Presbyopia, and I keep wondering whether fiber optic sights would help in proportion to expense compared to a red dot sight (I have a P09 with a red dot, and I kind of like the RDS, but not for a concealed carry piece).
I've poked around on the Cajun Gun Works site, and while I have a fair bit of mechanical aptitude, I wonder whether having someone with more training and experience mount such sights isn't a good idea.
I want to try out some fiber optic sights, if for no other reason than to convince myself to not pay for having them installed on my PCR.

1Eventually I'll figure out this signature thing and decide what I want to put here.
