This is unique among 3D-printed receiver-based rifles in that the Nylaug build allows the user to make full use of an otherwise useless Aug parts kit, simplifies it to use an AR-15 barrel, and results in the exposed part of the receiver looking similar to an original Aug receiver rather than a brick with slots cut into it. The caveat is the receiver print requires a printer that can handle carbon fiber nylon, but an Ender 3 can do that.
