I stopped shooting when COVID hit and the price of ammo went up, and didn't return to the range until recently. I was wondering if there was still an interest for these matches. I used to enjoy them (though, admittedly, I was only a fair weather participant).

I don't think we even got scores up from the last one. Life got in the way. I haven't been out since my old RO sold off the lease to the range, and I'm out of practice, but the matches are motivational.

I ran Bullseye #23 and #24. #24 scores were posted, there were only three entrants. I said I'd run #25, but just didn't seem worth the effort with only three people.

I wonder if the mantle could be picked up by someone more tech savvy than me -- someone who could bring it to this board, Discord, and Facebook.

In principle, I want to shoot more matches.

My range schedule has been pretty sparse lately. Got out something like four times last year. Hoping to do a little better.

The last couple of weeks, I've been hitting the dry-fire practice in the basement almost one night in two. If I can keep that up, I'll either improve slightly or wear out the firing pin in my MkII in a couple of months. If nothing else, it prevents me from having an adult bev or two at dinner, so my sleep quality is better.
