I stocked up between shortages and should have enough components to reload all the calibers I currently run for the rest of my Life. That is, if I shoot/practice/train conservatively. Burned 150 rounds at the range this last week and managed to replace it with store bought ammunition thus conserving my stock of reloading supplies.
Going forward I intend to adjust my consumption of ammunition according to availability of components. I'm testing out new sources of primers from overseas.
Interesting how some of these components are unavailable in the US but plentiful abroad.

That is interesting, indeed. Perhaps it's because the US companies have been selling the majority of their output to the police and military as assembled ammunition. It's largely in the USA that the general public would notice such a shortage, because the Second Amendment and our long shooting tradition mean more reloaders per capita here than other places, most likely.
However, I have also learned that there's a bit of a thriving reloading community in Brazil. Apparently Lee presses, or copies thereof, have a respectable presence in that country. One Brazilian reloader contacted me some years ago regarding help with his Lee Pro 1000 press. Seems he'd used my videos to set his up, and he ran into a snag, so we went through it. Learned he's got a .38 Special and enjoys marksmanship. We found the mistake he was making, he corrected it, and he was off to the races. That was refreshing to learn that others, outside this country, also enjoy this hobby.
