What the media has been obsessing on - Lauren Boebert and her boyfriend got kicked out of a Denver musical.

Lauren Boebert and her boyfriend went to see "Bettlejuice", a musical in Denver. They were laughing, she was vaping, they were singing and they had their hands all over each other. They were finally asked to leave.

Boebert and her husband Jayson are separated.
The “mystery man” who was booted from a Denver theater Sunday night along with Colorado Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert for disrupting a performance is a Democrat who owns a bar in Aspen, a source confirmed to The Post.

Quinn Gallagher, 46, was Boebert’s covert date to see “Beetlejuice: The Musical” at the Temple Hoyne Buell Theatre, where both were later kicked out following complaints about vaping, loudly singing and taking pictures during the show, the Daily Mail first reported.

The Colorado native is the co-owner of Hooch Craft Cocktail Bar in Aspen, which he opened with partner Pat Flannigan in April 2016, according to the Aspen Times.

The divorced father of one apparently scandalized his Democratic-leaning family members by spending the evening with the firebrand Republican, whom he has apparently been dating for months without their knowledge.

“It’s very surprising. I always thought Quinn was a cool guy and a Democrat. His parents would be horrified because they are definitely blue,” a source told the Daily Mail.

I wouldn't take the recommendations of cars, movies, restaurants, places to live, law, morality, investments, raising children, theater, music, or ANYTHING from any man who found that vulgar, willfully ignorant, racist, jingoist, fascist, trailer-trash, piece of shit attractive.

Don't be so certain. She only won by 546 votes--very close--and her shenanigans could easily sway 225 of that many in her district to flip.

I can't imagine any guy with any self-respect getting excited about groping her. Cooties!
Only in the most hateful, degrading, humiliating way possible. Then again, she probably gets off on shit like that -- no judgement -- but I wouldn't want her to receive any pleasure from the encounter.
The following statement is true: the previous statement was a lie.

Agree, she won in 2022 but just a few hundred votes, but she has the conservative area of CO that might just overlook this since she's apologizing in the media.

If you go down the rabbit hole a little bit, you’ll see that “they” are already calling it a political hit job. The conspiracy is that the boyfriend was recruited to take advantage of her. He drugged her drink and had already made arrangements with staff at the theater to make her look as bad as possible. She’s the victim, don’t cha know.

Hard to say it’s a “hit piece” when you are crotch groping your date at a family friendly production.

Yup and not a one handed grope, but a two handed one.

Rep. Lauren Boebert says she has parted ways with the man who was filmed fondling her during a musical theater performance of "Beetlejuice." "Ultimately, all future date nights have been canceled, and I learned to check party affiliations before you go on a date," Boebert told TMZ on Monday. Boebert was referring to her date, a man identified by the Daily Mail, New York Post, and other media outlets as Quinn Gallagher, a registered Democrat and bar owner.

"But all in all, you know, it was mostly a lovely time, and I've taken responsibility for my actions. I'd love to know how the musical ended, and I encourage people to go and see it," she added, calling her date a "wonderful man." Boebert and her theater date were escorted out of a Denver theater performance of "Beetlejuice" on September 10, and accused of disrupting the show.

"Honestly, he's a private citizen, and we peacefully parted at this time. Great man, great friend, and I wish him all the best," she added. She added that she's now back in Washington, D.C., and ready to work on the "impeachment" of President Joe Biden, among other matters.

Ready to work on “impeachment”, that says it all. It’s the only real topic to come out of this thread. I don’t think there’s much hope for a functional government when members of the legislature see their prime job as removing the head of the executive branch and not addressing legislative issues.

Even though Nixon wasn't impeached, the perception is that Democrats had the articles prepared and were ready to do the deed after the Watergate scandal, but Nixon resigned. Republicans got revenge with the impeachment of Clinton, but he wasn't convicted. Then Democrats impeached Trump twice, but he wasn't convicted so it was inevitable that some Trump Republicans now want to impeach Biden. That's the way politics is now played, every thing is the extreme.

It has become just part of playing politics. They don’t even think about resolving issues.

Sadly true, politicians focus on the 20 second sound bites they feed the media, on why they're the good guys and the other party are the bad guys.

Boebert has a very large district, the only major city IIRC is Grand Junction, but it includes Aspen and other resort areas. Heard some political pundit lately say he's forecasting that in 2024 the House would go Democratic and the Senate Republican.
