I do like that sight. I had a 100 year commemorative Winchester 30-30 with a loooong octagonal barrel on it. These kinda scratch that itch on getting another. That would make 3 lever guns for me. I like those old pump actions, never had one so there's that other itch.

Wouldn't mind having one in .17HMR, but appears Henry only makes in lever action.

I just swung by Turners here and they had an old Remington pump .22 LR for $800 ! Yikes If it was a .22WMR I might have bought it there n then,
In the new section there was a Henry Goldenboy lever .22 wmr for $600 n change. It didn't have the pep sight INVICTVS138 likes. I want the pump.

Pump-action .22s are a novelty thing. I own a Rossi pump .22 takedown but I’ve always felt like it came from a carnival shooting gallery or something. Lever actions are basically novelty items too but somehow feels more grown-up.

True true on the carni thing. But dang, look at that quick short action in the video I posted.
So much easier and faster to stay on target than a lever.
BTW I am drawn to the shooting galleries in carni town. Not so much the rides.
I did see a Rossi pump .22 at the LGC and agree it looks like a toy. Very small.
However the old Remington pump for 800 claims was lots bigger.
I'm assuming the Henri is bigger than the Rossi. The Henry levers were decent size but not like a winchester
