Benjamin Trail Nitro Piston Elite system

Had a bunch of rifles out for a wipe down and thought I'd check the .177 cal out to see if she's still sighted in. Centerpoint 3-9x32mm scope not zoomed in much.
She's a straight shooter. Disregard the X'd out shots. That was from zeroing in a air pistol. This was at 25 paces/yds.
Not to bad, good enough for squirrel errr packrat. I like squirrels. This thing at 1400 fps will go through a 1/2 inch piece of dry plywood.

Only thing I dislike about them is it's single shot and ya got to break barrel. Pellet guns are fun because I can shoot in my yard. Calms me down.

Those are very good rifles. A serious air gun addiction is what led me here fourteen years ago. I find air guns way more zen than powder burners. No report, I hate excess noise more and more the old fartier I get. I embrace the physicality of the reload process. Being able to shoot in the backyard and garage is grand.

Yes, your arm will get a workout. I crank it down pretty slow and deliberate. The pull gets easier after you run through a hundred rounds.
Loading it one round at a time reminds me of my single shot Winchester model 67 or Grandpa's Steven's Little Scout.
It's got a kick to it as well.
I've got some older ones too that need a rebuild like the Red Ryder.
Two pistols and the newer 10/22.

In my visits to the Cabela's or Bass Pro Shops or Academy Sports stores near me, I keep seeing .177-caliber rifles, and I keep thinking about getting one to dink around with in my yard. I already have some archery stuff that my FIL has seen, and that I want to put to use...

My living situation is that my spouse and I share a house with her parents, who are dealing with age-related memory challenges. A rifle such as this might let me practice at home without getting too much attention, but I'm reluctant to buy without knowing just how much the neighbors would notice my practice sessions.
Eventually I'll figure out this signature thing and decide what I want to put here.

These have a sound suppression system built in the barrels. I found a couple videos for you. These are .22 cal versions which are not as fast as the .177 cal. Not really noisy at all to me.
I have the NP2 .177 cal. I got that because I like faster. I'd be tempted to get the .22 if I didn't have all .177 cal guns.
The bottom video just reviewing the Vaporizer is the one where there is actual shooting so you can hear the sound.
