Not to be argumentative, but this is wrong. Loctite Blue is medium strength. I think what is desired here is Loctite 222, also called Purple. It is the weakest bond Loctite product, and it's for things that you don't want to vibrate loose, but still need to be adjustable and move able without much force. Things like calibration screws, eyeglass screws, or adjustable gun sights...

I personally, do not have any issues removing blue loctite with small hand tools. It’s works really well for the application of sight threads, etc. I used some on my Taurus m-82 cylinder release latch 3 years ago, and it’s still going strong.
