OLight customer service

So, a year or two ago, I bought an OLight PL Mini 2 Valkyrie light, figuring it would do for my home defense pistol (CZ P10F initially, but now a CZ P09 that came to me with a red dot sight already affixed).

I had the P09 at the range last Friday, and during my session, the light fell off. The RSO and I managed to find most of the parts, but a couple of tiny key pieces were gone. Somewhat bummed, and out of the allotted ammo budget for the day, anyway, I packed up what I could find and went home.

I went to the OLight web site, and didn't find anything in the FAQ section about repair parts, so I tried their online chat option. The person on the other end asked me for a picture of the pieces I had, and I made that happen. I allowed as how it was at least partially my own stupid fault for not using threadlocking compound on the threaded part of the clamp quick release skewer, and asked if they had just the small pieces I needed to return my clamp to service.

Today the entire clamp arrived via USPS. The person was courteous, and service was rapid and above what I wanted. I would have been happy to buy the parts I needed, but they sent me the entire assembly at no charge.

If reports such as mine matter to you, consider Olight for your next reasonably-priced pistol light.
Eventually I'll figure out this signature thing and decide what I want to put here.
