Innovation Armoury Magwell Adapter for Ruger PC Carbine (CZ Mags)

Surfing around and I found this aftermarket gem:

Innovation Armoury Magwell Adapter for Ruger PC Carbine (CZ Mags)

https://selectshootingsupplies.com/inn ... e-cz-mags/

Looks like it’s a game changer for us CZ 75 & variations people. I have considered getting the Ruger PCC in the past but it wasn’t compatible with any of my pistol magazines. This maybe in my future if I can sell off a few other odds and ends.

I know PCCs aren’t for everyone but I quite enjoy them for plinking & like the magazine compatibility.

Even though I can’t imagine the real life scenario where it matters all that much …it’s not like I am hunting with a 9mm.

Hmmm...

I'm not in the market for any new-to-me styles (my Mossberg 340KC mentioned in my "Nostalgia" thread notwithstanding), but a PCC seems like it would be the next addition to the collection if I wanted to add stuff.

Part of me thinks it would reduce my inventory, by allowing me to sell the AR-platform rifles and ammo. But probably not. I like having an AR or two in the safe.

But I also have little expectation to need anything for home defense that would reach out beyond a hundred meters or so. Heck, fifty meters would cover the entrance to my subdivision from my rooftop, should it come to that.

And I already have some CZ 75 mags, although I don't have many of the full-length ones. Half of what I have are fifteen-round mags to fit my PCR. I have a couple longer mags to give me flexibility to carry even more ammo for the reload or not do quite as many mag changes at the indoor range.

And a local store has the backpacker model in stock.

In the words of Arte Johnson, "Verrry interesting."
Eventually I'll figure out this signature thing and decide what I want to put here.

I think a PCC, along with a 223/556 rifle, a 22LR rifle and a shotgun is a good 'mix'...throw in some handguns, one for the home, one for CCW...maybe a revolver cuz they are fun and reliable....

I think it depends on what you are trying to 'defend' and from what? My little house in the people's republic...not gonna be getting on the roof for anything.

Yeah, the primary reason I’ve bought ARs 15s In The past is “Becuase I can.” I currently don’t have any completed ones. They don’t have much purpose, as to me, they are underpowered for medium game, and not all that useful compared to a semi auto or pump shot gun. I’m not denying that they are excellent anti-personnel rifles in urban combat or rural defense. Given that I now live in suburbia, They are terrible home defense rifles, given the how loud and high velocity they are. A PCC or 12 ga is much more suitable in this role for me. PCC is good, but not a versatile as a 12 ga; with the higher capacity advantage going to most PCCs over most shotguns.

The most versatile gun to me, is a combo 12 ga, with 3 barrels: rifled, security & field barrels. You’ve got home defense, medium-large game & bird hunting/trap shooting all in one gun covered.

AR-10 (in .308) is way more useful as a hunting long arm for me, personally. Soft shooting, decently powerful caliber enough to cleanly & ethically kill deer sized game.

Howdy folks, I know this is an old post, but I've got some relevant info about this product and company.

Those of us in the US cannot order directly from their website, because apparently they suffer from what's known as being "Canadian".

That said, I managed to contact them, and they are able to do sales to the US, but it's a special order thing. No big deal though, as I just ordered one via email. $95 USD shipped.

The email address is:
sales@ innovationarmoury.ca

Cheers!
