Gun manufacturers have to be cautious about their advertising, especially marketing to those underage. Sports cars and motorcycles push a racing theme even on city streets, no one is suing them. Rabid anti-gunners will always rage against something gun related, one article turns on the whole Rage Machine. The Democrats don't hold the US House any longer, so no more bills and speeches to stir up the local audience and feed the anti-gun media for awhile.

Remington's $73 million settlement may have been premature, it has emboldened anti-gunners. The ones to watch are the state laws overriding PLCAA that could get overturned in the federal courts as cases move up to SCOTUS.

Well, Eris, more to the point, which states pass laws against making birth control medicine, against women accessing health care, and make laws criminalizing marrying the person you love? Fair is fair. We must rescind all such laws, in my opinion. If people don't like the product or the policy, they should not buy it or use it. After all, even advertising executi ves have to put food on their families.

What? Did you mean for this to be in another thread? I have no idea what you are talking about.

I meant it to be here. Red states that allow advertising about firearms select against those things I listed. Red states will sell hand guns to eighteen year olds but will prevent them from accessing women's health care or marrying a person of the same sex. Their hypocrisy is of suck. I want to stop it.

Oh. Well, I haven't read the original post, so I don't really have any opinion on this topic.
