Chronographs are such cognitive dissonance to the firearm safety rule of “Don’t point a gun in the direction of anything you’re not willing to destroy.” I’m impressed with the fragmentation and its continued damage. Nice grouping though.

2You secretly just wanted a Lab Radar, admit it,
I ordered a case of optimism from Amazon, but porch pirates beat me to it. Still, chin-up.

3Welp, that sucked. Yeah, nice group.

5No cognitive dissonance. You have to be willing to destroy anything downrange, that doesn't mean you're trying to. Was that second hole just deflection after hitting the chrony?

6Yeah, you can see three separate indentations in the middle. Seems like it glanced off the front, split up and then continued busting things up on its way.wings wrote: Tue Feb 21, 2023 6:12 am No cognitive dissonance. 7Holy moly!
I’ve often felt nervous to shoot through the antennas of someone else’s chronograph. Now I see my anxiety was definitely warranted!

8Those of us who have not yet shot our chronies should be suspected either of lying or of being exceptionally lucky (me:lucky).

9My first job in the Army was 17B, radar operator. So the Lab Radar chrono has captured my interest also.
Oehler still sells parts for this thing, but tape, screws and rubber bands keep it going. Had the fancy bits been out front, it would not have made it this long.
