Wow, they had assault rifles? So these were select fire fully automatic rifles that fire an intermediate cartridge from a detachable magazine?

I'm guessing that at most only 2 out of 3 things matched the description.

I think it's safe to say that no actual assault rifles were found. I wouldn't be even remotely surprised if at least one of those "assault rifles" was a Ruger 10/22 or some other 22LR semi auto rifle.

And yeah, if they call that a cache, they'd call my collection an arsenal.

Wow neither person had a much bigger collection than me, and I hardly have any guns. lol

There was a mysterious homicide about 30 minutes north of here in Wayne County PA. One of the home owners was found shot to death. They owned guns so the State Police took them all to the lab to see if any were the weapon used.

They had over 100 guns! Most from the footage I saw were M1s.

Now that would be a Cache! lol

That is the problem with reporting today. They rush to get the story out and they misrepresent information for entertainment and shock value. They were looking for 3 long guns and 2 handguns. It looks like they found them, but the question is WHY? As Wurble says, were they really fully automatic rifles? Did the owner not have the proper documentation? Were there other warrants besides the firearms?

I am sure that any factual errors or errors of omission will NOT be addressed or if they are, they will be minimized and placed out of the headlines.

Parts of Vallejo can be dangerous, but it is like any other area. There are higher levels of poverty in parts of Vallejo and Richmond which make them more prone to problems.
