Very pretty .22 there, it is.
SR
I took a little time to give the 341 some TLC this morning, now that I've fired a few dozen rounds through it. It's in very nice condition for being forty years old (sources vary, of course, but one source that seems fairly sound indicates that the 341 was produced from 1972-1984). If there was neglect, it was benign enough that it wasn't a beat-up barn find.
I was also able to do some more examination to compare the two for condition and features. It has less rust than my 340KC (the rust on that one is limited to "down inside the stamped lettering on the barrel"). The stock is in nicer shape.
The third patch I ran through the barrel came out clean. A drop of Lucas Gun Oil here and there after some scrubbing with old tooth brushes and pipe cleaners, and the action is SMOOTH.
I'm pleased.
Eventually I'll figure out this signature thing and decide what I want to put here.
