Reaching back a bit...

My Ingram MAC-10 .45ACP and home-built Sionic can. The sub was $250 + $200 then.

Shown in the original COBRAY "Mac Sack" that holds the weapon, suppressor, mags, loader, and lube. 3 plates can fit in the inner flaps, to provide an ersatz vest when the long handle goes around your neck.

I'm celebrating it's 40th anniversary this year!

Wow a spray and pray Rambo gun, you're ready to fight the zombie invaders. Looks a lot like an Uzi. Comparisons
Another difference that can be seen, is between the cartridges that are used. While the UZI uses a 9x19mm parabellum, .41 AE, .45 ACP, and .22LR cartridges, the MAC 10 uses .45 ACP and 9×19 mm parabellum cartridges. When considering their rate of firing, the UZI can fire 600 rounds in a minute, and the 9mm MAC can fire about 1,090 rounds a minute. The .45 ACP MAC can fire 1,145 rounds a minute.

Yet again, the UZi and the Mac differ in their muzzle velocity. The UZI has a muzzle velocity of 390 m/s, whereas the MAC has 366 m/s for a 9 mm and 280 m/s for a .45 ACP.

Wow, that's quite a setup!

A couple months back, I shared the range with a fellow enthusiast testing out one of these in .22LR - look, it was probably a knockoff, but he had the tax stamp, know what I mean? Blasting through Thunderbolts like the Fourth of July. Sure, the steel plates on the 25 yard line were safe, but that was obviously not the point.

Have a blast with that. I mean, how could you not?

Back in the day, I took a course in running a Mac from an ex-special forces guy. The technique:

Put the wire stock butt in your armpit and clamp it down.
The sights are for looks.
Left hand on the can, index finger pointing straight down the bore line.
Trigger discipline to generate a 'triple tap' each pull, thereby delivering ten effective shots from the 30-rd mag.

It works. Even virgins to the weapon can hit well on the second mag, a triple on a target is effective.

The can takes the noise down to a hammer on a sidewalk sound. Spray & pray is for the movies...

It always boils down to technique doesn’t it. Great you had good instruction. Take some pics at the range!

The Mac 10 is chambered in 45 acp, the Tec 9 is 9 mm, and the Micro Uzi is 9m as well.

Very cool Flyguy. Now I see the differences.
