4I'm glad this nut got laid off. But I always have to wonder what people are thinking, if you post something on these social networking sites it isn't always private. There's a good chance the whole damn world can see it, and there's a good chance you may piss someone off.
And let me tell you somethin' bout the whole "an ant can lift a hundred times its weight" buisness, it's a myth, how much do you think an ant actually weighs--like nothin, what's nothin times a hundred....IT"S NOTHING!

5No way. A stubborn, foul-mouthed jackass from Indiana? I have never heard of such a thing...
I wonder if he can be charged? Inciting a riot is a crime, what about suggesting firing upon unarmed civilians?

7Not too smart, he could have been a political appointee. Mother Jones is coming out swinging in the Wisconsin War, good for them."I think, in this day and age, that tweet was not a good idea," he said. "In terms of that language, I'm not going to use it anymore."

8I am sure it was all a "joke" or a poor choice of words. Uh huh.

9Not if your name is Anon. If your name is Anon you can say anything without repercussions. I'm not sure I want public servants who are stupid enough to make comments like that under a known name.marcgo2 wrote:I'm glad this nut got laid off. If I hear "crony" capitalism one more time I'm going to be ill. Capitalism is capitalism, dog eats dog and one dog ends up on top, and he defends that place with all the power he's accumulated.

11This Jeff Cox is a real piece of work. More than likely he run into the arms of some right wing law firm and they'll call him a hero.

13I agree with both statements. As I said in the General Discussion, authoritarians inevitably overplay their position and their disdain for the average person is such that people finally get it. Unfortunately a great many good people suffer prior to that revelation.JayFromPA wrote:The problem is when they use it to strangle us before wandering off the edge of the cliff.mark wrote:Given enough rope, they eventually hang themselves.
I have made some pretty dramatic statements in my online posts. I am sure someone searching for dirt on me would find it one day. I try not to make completely nonredeemable comments though. My personal ideal is to put information out, give my opinion, and advance the discussion rather than just flaming, although I understand the frustration that would lead to such posts.
