Ach. If I still lived in Vegas, I might've been able to help in person.

What I would do is look for someone in the Tucson area who teaches the NRA's Metallic Reloading Course. Yeah, I know, NRA, but 1.) not every NRA-certified instructor is a White supremacist (a surprising amount are actually Liberals!), and 2.) the courses themselves are actually quite good. Since we're talking about the Southwest USA, I'd be very surprised if there weren't a healthy reloading community of some sort.
