Pizza delivery person kills robber

Perhaps i have grown callous - nay, heartless - when it comes to these situations, but i view this as no more than another case of addition by subtraction. If you live by the sword - you will die by the sword. Good riddens. I seriously doubt that those desperate enough to rob another to feed himself or his family would be running in groups of three. Let's just hope this makes the next guy think twice before embarking on such a journey into ignorance.Caliman73 wrote:I am glad that the man was able to defend himself successfully, but I find it sad that people feel the need to choose crime as an option for meeting their needs or desires.
Actually, largely unreported during the great depression were gangs of people performing grab-and-run operations on food stores.goosekiller wrote:I seriously doubt that those desperate enough to rob another to feed himself or his family would be running in groups of three.
One such I read about reported of a guy standing on a box holding up some food item, I think it was milk, asking a crowd who had the most kids."Food riots" begin to break out in parts of the U.S. In Minneapolis, several hundred men and women smashed the windows of a grocery market and made off with fruit, canned goods, bacon, and ham.

The difference being that those crowds likely were not armed and dangerous, killing people even if they fully complied with their wishes, or robbing and killing as part of some BS gang rite of passage.masonalannz wrote:JayFromPA wrote:Actually, largely unreported during the great depression were gangs of people performing grab-and-run operations on food stores.goosekiller wrote:I seriously doubt that those desperate enough to rob another to feed himself or his family would be running in groups of three.
