Has anyone sold or inquired about selling a silencer. Wondering about depreciation. It's my understanding that due to buyers cost and wait time, that the market is not a sellers one.

Never tried to sell privately. The hardest part is getting the buyer to get a Tax Stamp, then come the waiting. It might be worth getting a few quotes from your Local Gun Stores. However, expect only 50% of original sale.

Normally when you buy something that doesn't work out, it can be sold with reasonable ease or if cheap enough, given away or discarded. Love at first sight. Whirlwind romance. Before long, it's sitting to breakfast in your underwear. Almost like being married when buying an NFA item. Cold eggs, burnt toast. Keep or not, there will be pain.
